The work supported Rodial’s premium beauty positioning, a brand known for innovative, results-driven formulas. Designs were rolled out to luxury retailers including Space NK and Harvey Nichols.

Context

Rodial is a London-based luxury beauty brand with a strong reputation for advanced skincare and effective makeup essentials. Packaging plays a key role in communicating quality, efficacy, and brand prestige within competitive luxury retail environments, where first impressions strongly influence purchase decisions.

Objectives

  • Develop cohesive packaging systems across skincare and makeup

  • Integrate premium materials and finishes

  • Deliver production-ready artwork for primary and secondary packaging

Concept & Approach

Design development was rooted in Rodial’s core brand values of performance, confidence, and sophistication. A flexible packaging system was created to support a broad range of SKUs, from targeted skincare treatments to complexion and makeup products.

Material exploration formed a key part of the approach, with finishes such as foiling and embossing used to add tactility and visual depth. Typography and layout were carefully controlled to ensure clarity across different formats while maintaining a refined and confident brand presence.

Consideration was given to how primary containers and secondary cartons worked together, ensuring a cohesive experience across all customer touchpoints.
