Overview
Development and refinement of comprehensive brand guidelines for Mous, a premium tech accessories brand focused on performance, functionality, and considered design. The project consolidated brand strategy, visual identity, tone of voice, and application rules into a clear, scalable system to ensure consistency across digital, retail, and product touchpoints.
Context
Mous operates in a highly competitive tech accessories market, where products must balance extreme performance with refined aesthetics. As the brand continued to scale across products, platforms, and international markets, there was a need to clearly define how the brand should look, sound, and behave across all outputs.
Objectives
-
Clearly define Mous’s brand strategy, visual identity, and tone of voice
-
Create a consistent, usable framework for internal teams and external partners
-
Support application across packaging, digital, retail, and marketing assets
-
Ensure the brand system could scale with future product and technology launches
Concept & Approach
The guidelines were structured to move from brand foundations through to practical application. This included articulating Mous’s brand story, vision, mission, and core pillars such as Products With Purpose, Enhancing Lifestyles, and Relentlessly High Quality.
The visual identity system defined logo usage, colour hierarchy, typography, iconography, and layout principles, with detailed rules to ensure clarity and consistency. Particular attention was paid to how Mous’s proprietary technologies, such as AiroShock, AiroFoam, and AutoAlign, are visually expressed within the brand ecosystem.
Tone of voice guidelines were developed to reflect Mous as an informed expert, inspiring visionary, and single-minded creator, ensuring messaging remained confident, clear, and purposeful across all channels.

Deliverables included:
